Megan Ramsey

PTA, Physical Therapy Assistant

I grew up in Kannapolis, NC, and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree. After graduation, I enlisted in the Army, where I spent the next 3.5 years. I decided to go back to school once I got out of the Army to obtain my PTA degree. In 2023, I graduated from RCCC and received my PTA license in January 2024. I began working as a PTA at ATP afterward and have been here ever since!

Providing the best care to my patients is my number one priority as a PTA. It is rewarding to help others reduce pain, gain strength and mobility, and improve others’ overall quality of life. I love helping younger athletes get back to the game they love following an injury. As a prior athlete myself, I know how important it is to be able to play at your full potential, and I want every athlete to have that opportunity, especially after an injury.

What I find most rewarding about working here is helping patients return to activities they love or had difficulty with before physical therapy.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, working out, and spending time with family. We love being outdoors, taking on new projects around the house, and traveling whenever time allows.
