MS, ATC/LAT, NREMT, Injury Prevention Specialist
I grew up in Milledgeville, GA and attended Reinhardt University for 1 year, and transferred back to Milledgeville to attend Georgia College and State University to complete undergrad and graduate school. I went on to complete work as a PRN Athletic Trainer with different high schools and colleges in the central GA area. In undergrad, I was a part of an internship with the University of Arizona football team during the summer of 2017. In February 2020 I started working part-time as an Industrial Athletic Trainer and transitioned to full-time in September of 2020. In May of 2021, I left the Athletic Training world to work as a summer and year-long intern for a Young Life camp in Georgia, serving as their medical intern in the summers, and completing various roles during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. I started with ATP in August of 2022. I am a certified Athletic Trainer, National Registered EMT, and have previous experience in the industrial setting as an Athletic Trainer.
“It’s not about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.”
– Rocky Balboa
I work as an injury prevention specialist, specializing in occupational health. I enjoy improving patients’ overall/personal health, whether it’s through education on diabetes, CVD, etc, or even being able to manage personal injuries that occur.
I enjoy working at ATP because of the ability to make a difference and grow as a practitioner. The set hours are nice too!
