Mackenzie Peed
MS, LAT, ATC, Injury Prevention Specialist, Athletic Trainer
I grew up in Burlington County, New Jersey. I went to Monmouth University for undergraduate school and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies with a minor in Psychology in 2017. I received my Master’s in Athletic Training degree from Moravian College in 2019. I started my young professional journey in a traditional secondary school setting. In addition to this, I spent time working in an orthopedic office, which gave me the opportunity to observe various orthopedic surgeries. I decided to move to New Hampshire in 2021 to work as an athletic trainer at a sports medicine clinic in the White Mountains. I had the chance to learn about different types of conservative treatment options during that time, which is where my passion for injury prevention grew a bit stronger. Currently, I work as an athletic trainer/injury prevention specialist at a distribution center in Center Valley, PA.
Integrity, Courage, Influence
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts”
-Winston Churchill
“Whenever I’m about to do something, I think ‘Would an idiot do that?’ And if they would, I do not do that thing.”
-Dwight Schrute
At ATP, I am responsible for injury prevention.
Working in this setting is fun and rewarding! I enjoy the injury prevention aspect of athletic training and there are so many ways we can do that here.
